Ryan Frederick Case Review

Almost six months have passed since Det. Jarrod Shivers was killed in the course of serving a search warrant at the home of Ryan Frederick. From the day of the incident, serious questions have been raised regarding the conduct of the Chesapeake Police Department, some of which have been answered, but most of which remain shrouded behind a wall of police silence. Enough information has been revealed in the ensuing months that it is time to revisit the series of article written here to update them with current knowledge and to ask new questions. I will revisit each of the ‘Breach of Trust’ articles in turn and update them with what is now known and what is not.
